Key Punch Operator – Production

Paramount Pharmaceuticals, a well-established manufacturer of prescription medicines based in Islamabad since 1994, is looking to hire a Key Punch Operator for its Production department. The role involves accurately and promptly entering production data into the company’s ERP system, supporting the Production Manager by allowing them to focus on floor operations. This position demands strong attention to detail, timely data entry, and strict confidentiality regarding production records.

Key Responsibilities
- Enter production data into the ERP system, including material issues, batch processing details, production output, and related information.
- Utilize production sheets and batch records provided by the Production Manager and floor supervisors as the primary source for data entry.
- Verify all entries against source documents and report any discrepancies or missing information on the same day to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records throughout the shift to reflect actual production activities.
- Prepare simple daily entry summaries when requested by management.
- Handle all production records with care, ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information is maintained at all times.

Required Qualifications
- Intermediate education level (FA/FSc/I.Com) or higher.
- At least 1 year of experience in data entry, ERP systems, or inventory-related roles.
- Typing speed of 25 words per minute or higher, with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data handling and reporting.
- Ability to read and interpret English text and numerical data on forms and production records.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Islamabad.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience in a factory, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Competitive monthly salary in the range of PKR 40,000 to 50,000.
