Job Title: Testing Specialist – Apparel & Textile
The Testing Specialist will be responsible for conducting and coordinating comprehensive testing of textiles and garments to ensure that all products comply with quality, safety, performance, and customer standards. This role involves working closely with various teams to maintain high-quality outputs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of tests on fabrics and garments, including physical, chemical, colorfastness, dimensional stability, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate testing activities with both internal teams and external third-party laboratories to ensure timely and accurate results.
- Review and verify test reports, ensuring they meet customer specifications and relevant international standards.
- Identify any testing failures and collaborate with Quality, Production, and Merchandising departments to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records, reports, and documentation related to all testing processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with customer requirements, international standards, and company quality procedures.
- Support quality assurance teams by resolving testing-related issues and contributing to product performance improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Material Science, Textile Chemistry, or a closely related technical field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in garment technology, textile laboratory testing, or production quality assurance, preferably within the European fashion or apparel industry.
