We are offering a six-month unpaid full-time trainee position with remote work flexibility. The role requires commitment from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This opportunity is designed for recent graduates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. Candidates currently pursuing their studies or undergraduate students are not eligible. The position focuses on developing foundational skills in web development technologies and database management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Work with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery to enhance user interfaces.
- Support integration and consumption of RESTful APIs and handle data in JSON format.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MySQL databases.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
- Learn and apply best practices in software development under supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Beginner-level proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data formats.
- Fundamental knowledge of relational database concepts.
- Availability to work full-time during the specified hours and duration.
- Candidates must not be currently enrolled in any academic program.
