Lead Azure Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Azure Cloud Engineer with over 10 years of experience to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Azure cloud services, DevOps methodologies, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security. This role requires independent management of Azure environments, infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and supporting application delivery for .NET, ReactJS, and Python-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and administer Azure cloud environments, including subscriptions, resources, and services.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable Azure infrastructure solutions.
- Provision infrastructure both manually and through automation tools to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Azure-native technologies.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines tailored for .NET, ReactJS, and Python applications.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve delivery workflows.
- Apply DevOps best practices encompassing automation, monitoring, deployment strategies, and operational enhancements.
- Enforce strong cloud security measures, including identity management, access control, network security, compliance, and security monitoring.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, deployments, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Azure architecture and cloud engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and managing Azure accounts, subscriptions, and resources.
- Proven expertise in DevOps practices within Azure environments.
- Strong skills in infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with deployment support for .NET, ReactJS, and Python applications.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and cloud architecture principles.
- Demonstrated experience implementing security controls and best practices in Azure infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Relevant Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are highly desirable.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cloud governance, cost optimization, and managing enterprise-scale Azure environments is a plus.
