Lead Business Analyst (Remote, Anywhere in Pakistan, Remittance Salary)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst/Product Owner with over five years of experience in a software company environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gathering and documenting requirements, working closely with clients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and hands-on experience with AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation. The candidate will be expected to work independently in a fast-paced setting while demonstrating ownership and openness to feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and meetings with US-based clients to understand their business needs.
- Document client business processes, including current (as-is) and future (to-be) states, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
- Create detailed personas, user journey maps, and process flow diagrams to support product development.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product and its end-to-end workflows.
- Write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria and maintain the product backlog.
- Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead on sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery timelines.
- Work alongside the Lead Designer to develop user flows and wireframes.
- Manage scope changes and change requests, communicating their impact on timelines and costs effectively.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes to stakeholders within 24 hours.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure features meet client expectations before delivery.
- Support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Follow up on blockers and action items, driving them to timely resolution.
- Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Claude Design to accelerate analysis, documentation, and prototyping, and share best practices with the team.
- Mentor and eventually lead junior Business Analysts, fostering growth and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Analyst within a software company.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with clear and confident articulation.
- Preference for candidates with an American or neutral accent.
- Proven experience working directly with US or international clients.
- Strong expertise in requirements documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, personas, and journey maps.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Claude Design in daily tasks.
- Demonstrable experience applying AI for requirements gathering, documentation, data analysis, and rapid prototyping. Candidates should be prepared to showcase practical use of these tools.
- Innovative thinker who seeks new ways to solve problems and improve workflows beyond traditional methods.
- Strong sense of ownership with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Receptive to feedback and quick to implement improvements.
- Experience with collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Notion, Figma, and Claude Design.
