We are currently seeking a dynamic legal professional to lead our Lahore business team, ensuring legal compliance and strategic alignment across operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Lahore business team by providing strategic legal updates and risk assessments to senior leadership, ensuring all business operations align with organizational objectives and risk management protocols. Develop and manage litigation strategies, including oversight of external counsel, case progression, cost control, and achieving favorable legal outcomes. Ensure full statutory compliance by managing sensitive law enforcement inquiries, crafting compliance policies, and maintaining proactive communication with regulatory bodies and external partners to resolve legal matters efficiently. Draft complex, non-templated agreements and deliver official legal opinions on intricate commercial and regulatory issues. Mentor and support the professional growth of legal team members, monitor changes in regulations, and ensure consistent application of legal standards and necessary operational adjustments.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree is mandatory. Candidates holding a Master’s in Law (LLM) or a relevant postgraduate diploma will be preferred. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate litigation, regulatory compliance, or legal counsel roles, preferably within a multinational corporation, technology platform, or a reputable law firm. A strong understanding of local statutory frameworks, compliance regimes, and protocols for managing sensitive law enforcement inquiries is essential. Excellent leadership and decision-making skills are required, along with proven abilities in stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication.
