We are seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience and a strong product mindset to join our AI product development team. This role requires hands-on expertise in building AI-native applications and taking full ownership of product areas from initial planning through to deployment and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hybrid environment across Lahore, Karachi, or Islamabad and will lead technical efforts while actively contributing to development.
Key Responsibilities
- Own features and product areas end-to-end, including scoping, technical specification, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Write detailed technical plans and specifications prior to development, adhering to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing practices.
- Develop scalable backend services using Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy 2.0, PostgreSQL, Alembic, Pydantic v2, Celery, and Redis.
- Build modern frontend applications leveraging React, TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, and Tailwind CSS.
- Utilize Docker, AWS, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and end-to-end (E2E) testing frameworks.
- Integrate AI coding agents such as Claude Code or similar tools into daily development workflows.
- Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, and correctness.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership while maintaining a hands-on approach to software development.
Required Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong full-stack development skills with Python/Flask on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy 2.0, and RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience working with Docker containers, AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and TDD methodologies.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding agents or AI-assisted development tools.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a strong product ownership mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pgvector or similar vector database technologies.
- Background in building large language model (LLM) applications or AI/Generative AI pipelines.
- Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS application architectures.
