Edversity is seeking a Lead Instructor to develop and teach the AI Engineering with Claude live cohort. This role involves owning the curriculum and classroom experience, ensuring that learners progress from coders to proficient AI engineers working with the Claude stack. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding learners through hands-on projects and capstones, preparing them for real-world applications and subsequent placement or startup opportunities. Edversity, founded in Pakistan in 2021, has trained over 12,500 learners and is expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia. The AI Engineering with Claude program targets individuals who already have coding experience, including final-year students, recent graduates, and junior developers. The curriculum covers the Claude API, Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, MCP, evals, and guardrails, culminating in learners shipping multiple projects and a capstone for an actual employer or customer.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum and Lab Development: Finalize the curriculum and design all labs, project briefs, and grading rubrics. Oversee each lab’s execution alongside teaching assistants, tracking time and API costs. Participate in selecting and training three teaching assistants to support the program.
Teaching and Assessment: Deliver weekly concept sessions featuring live coding demonstrations. Lead weekly review sessions focused on demo presentations and code reviews. Conduct gate assessments where learners defend their design decisions and implement live changes to their systems.
Capstones and Course Maintenance: Supervise capstone project teams and liaise with their employer or customer sponsors. Continuously update course materials to reflect changes in Claude models and tools.
Learner Outcomes: Collaborate with hiring partners to shape capstone briefs and participate as a panelist during demo days. Prepare learners for the Claude Certified Developer: Foundations exam. Review and refine the curriculum after each cohort in preparation for the next.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Claude Certified Architect: Foundations and Claude Certified Developer: Foundations credentials are preferred, with the latter being the exam learners prepare for.
- Experience delivering Claude projects at a Claude Partner Network firm.
- Background in hiring or interviewing engineers to support the placement track, or startup/freelance experience to guide the startup track.
- Strong hands-on expertise with tools such as MCP, agents, evals, and guardrails.
