The Lead Logistics Product Manager – PAK Area is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the growth and strategic direction of Maersk’s lead logistics business in Pakistan. This role focuses on end-to-end supply chain management, integrating transportation, warehousing, customs, and other logistics services into a seamless solution. The manager will own the product strategy, growth agenda, and profit-and-loss performance for the area, while leading cross-functional teams to develop competitive solutions, secure strategic opportunities, and tailor global offerings to meet local market demands. This position requires an experienced leader capable of making sound commercial decisions, engaging with senior customers, and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the Area plan for Lead Logistics aligned with global and regional strategies. This includes creating a clear roadmap to advance lead logistics across customer segments, verticals, countries, and products. The role involves driving go-to-market strategies, including customization, sales enablement, marketing, and enhancing customer experience. Utilizing customer insights, market data, and operational performance, the manager will identify new opportunities and recommend strategic directions.

Drive Lead Logistics growth by maintaining and expanding existing business through contract renewals and geographic or service scope extensions. The role requires close collaboration with global and regional teams to ensure effective market penetration. Monitoring the sales pipeline and supporting sales teams to improve inflow, velocity, and win rates is essential. The manager will provide product management, subject matter expertise, solution engineering, and pricing support to achieve profitable growth. Active participation in strategic pursuits, including attending key client meetings, is expected. Leading local product development and adapting global products to meet prioritized customer needs is also a critical responsibility. Additionally, the role supports sales capability development through product training and value-selling coaching.

Take full ownership of the Area Lead Logistics profit-and-loss (P&L) performance. This includes setting ambitious yet realistic growth, revenue, margin, and productivity targets. The manager will regularly review business performance, identify causes of variances, and lead corrective actions with commercial, operations, finance, and other stakeholders. Maintaining disciplined pricing and deal governance is vital to ensure commercial decisions reflect costs, risks, and long-term value. Providing accurate forecasts, performance updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership is required. The role also involves evaluating the local portfolio’s performance and relevance, recommending where to invest, scale, redesign, or discontinue activities.

Actively participate in the global and regional Lead Logistics community by sharing knowledge and best practices to support ongoing success. The manager will foster a culture of accountability, constructive challenge, collaboration, and continuous improvement, coaching colleagues to advance the Lead Logistics agenda.
