Lead Product Designer

ML Bench is seeking a Senior Product Designer with 3 to 4 years of experience to lead the design of both mobile and web products. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, QA, and marketing to deliver intuitive and effective user experiences. The ideal candidate will support and guide the design team, drive the design process from concept to final execution, and leverage AI tools to accelerate design and research workflows. This is an onsite position based in Lahore, offering a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.

Key Responsibilities

- Design mobile and web products from initial concept through to final design delivery.
- Provide feedback, guidance, and conduct design reviews to support the design team.
- Assist in planning, assigning, and prioritizing design tasks within the team.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, QA, and marketing teams to ensure alignment.
- Create and maintain comprehensive design systems and reusable components.
- Utilize AI tools and prompt engineering to enhance the speed and quality of design and research.
- Employ AI prototyping and vibe coding techniques to rapidly test and explore new ideas.
- Ensure all designs are clear, consistent, user-friendly, and development-ready.
- Address UX and product challenges beyond visual design to improve overall user experience.
- Continuously improve the team’s design processes and workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest AI tools, design trends, and product development best practices.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 4 years of professional experience in product, UI, or UX design.
- Proven expertise in designing both mobile and web applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, UI design, user flows, interaction design, and design systems.
- Experience mentoring or supporting other designers.
- Comfortable integrating AI tools and prompt engineering into daily design tasks.
- Familiarity with vibe coding, AI prototyping, or AI-assisted development methods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Willingness to take ownership of design tasks and make informed design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working on AI-powered products.
- Familiarity with AI and design tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Figma AI, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, or Replit.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, React, or React Native.
- Experience with design systems and design tokens.
- Background in agency environments or fast-paced product teams is a plus.

This is a full-time, onsite role located at ML Bench in Lahore. The monthly salary range is Rs100,000 to Rs170,000. Candidates should be currently residing in Lahore and ready to work from the office Monday through Friday.
