Ahya Technologies is a pioneering sustainability innovation company based in the Middle East, specializing in AI-powered software designed for the net-zero era. As the region’s first PCAF-accredited climate technology firm, Ahya has earned notable recognition, including the United Nations' AI for Good and Deloitte Fast 50 awards in 2025. Their platforms—AhyaOS, AhyaAI, and Tawazun—enable carbon accounting and voluntary carbon trading for leading banks and enterprises across the Gulf and Pakistan.
We are looking for a technically proficient Product Manager, Ecosystems, to lead the development and management of Ahya’s ecosystem products. This role focuses on APIs, integrations, and partner channels that extend Ahya’s emissions, offsetting, and climate data capabilities to partner platforms. Initially, the role will concentrate on AhyaAPI and Tawazun, with opportunities to expand as new ecosystem products are introduced. Reporting directly to the SVP of Product & Growth, the Product Manager will translate partner and stakeholder requirements into actionable specifications, oversee delivery timelines, and communicate key decisions to company leadership with clear justifications.
Key Responsibilities
Ecosystem & Integration Ownership
- Manage the AhyaAPI roadmap, including Estimate and Offset endpoints, enabling partner platforms to embed Ahya’s emissions calculation and offsetting features into their customer-facing products.
- Define and own the specifications for Tawazun’s channel partner ecosystem, detailing how partners onboard, list, and transact within the marketplace.
- Oversee the integration contract between AhyaAPI and Tawazun, ensuring offset requests initiated via API accurately resolve against Tawazun’s inventory and can withstand rigorous scrutiny.
- Establish clear Phase 1 and Phase 2 boundaries for every ecosystem initiative and defend these distinctions under review.
Roadmap & Prioritization
- Prioritize the product roadmap based on compliance deadlines, partner integration commitments, and phase-in schedules rather than internal preferences.
- Make and own trade-off decisions between competing stakeholder demands, explicitly communicating the cost of each choice.
- Maintain a transparent roadmap that leadership can review independently without requiring detailed walkthroughs.
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate collaboration between Engineering, Carbon Markets, and partner engineering teams throughout all stages of ecosystem initiatives, from scoping to launch.
- Present product specifications and prioritization decisions directly to the CEO and executive team, prepared to justify every significant decision.
- Coordinate dependencies across teams and proactively identify risks to timelines before they escalate.
Delivery & Quality Oversight
- Monitor feature delivery against original specifications and flag any deviations early.
- Validate completed features against specifications prior to sign-off.
- Lead post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned and identify improvements for subsequent phases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (BEng), or a related technical discipline; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years in product management, with at least 2 years managing platform, API, or integration-layer products. Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or regulated/compliance-related software is preferred.
- Strong ability to understand and reason about data models, API contracts, and system architecture, even without direct coding responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of carbon accounting, ESG reporting, or voluntary/compliance carbon markets, or demonstrated capacity to quickly gain deep domain expertise.
- Exceptional written communication skills capable of withstanding both technical and executive-level scrutiny.
- Comfortable receiving and acting on direct, detailed, and rapid executive feedback.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Opportunity to own a challenging, high-impact product area from day one, working closely with senior leadership throughout the product lifecycle.
- Direct exposure to executive decision-making processes regarding product evaluation and prioritization.
- Clear career path toward full ownership of a product line as the role and roadmap evolve.
This position offers a unique chance to contribute to cutting-edge sustainability technology within a fast-growing company committed to innovation and impact in the climate tech space.
