Silicon Labs, a leader in low-power wireless connectivity and embedded technology, is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions across the enterprise. This role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, solution ownership, AI-driven innovation, and mentorship. The successful candidate will act as a technical authority, ensuring secure, compliant, and high-quality Salesforce implementations that support Sales, Service, Marketing, and Legal operations.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Solution Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and technical strategy for Salesforce initiatives. Translate complex business needs into scalable and maintainable solutions while defining and enforcing development standards and best practices. Serve as the escalation point for complex design and implementation challenges.
Salesforce Design & Development: Develop high-quality solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Triggers, and Flows. Design robust data models, security configurations, and automation frameworks aligned with Salesforce best practices. Lead complex integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP, Apttus CLM, and marketing platforms using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware. Review and optimize code for performance, security, and maintainability.
AI & Innovation: Drive Salesforce AI initiatives using Einstein and Agentforce to create intelligent automation and AI-powered experiences. Identify and implement AI-driven use cases like predictive insights and recommendation engines. Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI roadmaps and measure business impact. Stay updated on Salesforce AI advancements and recommend innovative solutions.
Technical Ownership, Governance & DevOps: Manage the full lifecycle of Salesforce solutions from design to deployment and post-production support. Oversee CI/CD pipelines, version control, release management, and environment strategy. Ensure compliance with IT, security, and SOX standards. Guide sandbox strategy, test data management, and deployment best practices.
Coaching, Mentorship & Team Enablement: Mentor and guide Salesforce team members on technical skills and architecture. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to enhance team output and solution quality. Support onboarding, skill development, and career growth of developers. Foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, Architecture, and cross-functional IT teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives. Communicate technical designs, risks, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Over 9 years of Salesforce development experience in enterprise settings.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, integration patterns, and Salesforce architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; familiarity with Experience Cloud, Apttus CLM, or Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Proven experience leading technical design and mentoring development teams.
- Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Preferred certifications include Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or relevant Consultant credentials. Experience with Salesforce SOX compliance, audit trails, governance frameworks, Salesforce Shield, Field Audit Trail, and data encryption features is advantageous. Familiarity with designing AI-driven, automation-heavy Salesforce solutions is also beneficial.
