The Lead Solution Architect – Cybersecurity & Trust Services is a senior techno-commercial role based in Islamabad, responsible for designing and positioning advanced cybersecurity solutions. This role bridges product strategy, technology, enterprise customer needs, sales, partners, and delivery teams to develop scalable, secure, and commercially viable cybersecurity offerings. The position plays a critical part in driving business growth through solution development, portfolio expansion, customer engagement, RFP/RFI responses, proof of concepts, pricing strategies, and managing strategic partnerships with customers and vendors. Reporting directly to the Head of Solution Architects – Cybersecurity & Trust Services, this role demands a strong blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Lead complex enterprise pre-sales engagements by managing discovery, solution sizing, bill of quantities (BoQs), technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, presentations, demos, proof of concepts, costing, and commercial solutioning. Translate enterprise business and security requirements into practical, high-value architectures and implementation roadmaps that secure technical wins.

Develop and manage advanced cybersecurity solution architectures across multiple domains including network security, cloud security, endpoint/XDR, web application firewalls, firewall technologies, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing (VAPT), SOC/SIEM, backup and disaster recovery security, email security, DDoS protection, identity and access management, and security monitoring.

Enable sales teams through pre-sales training, technical playbooks, tailored collateral, workshops, and leading customer-facing technical sessions. Collaborate closely with delivery and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions from pre-sales to onboarding, migration, implementation, service assurance, and post-sales technical governance.

Develop go-to-market (GTM) propositions, pre-sales use cases, service bundles, and managed security services tailored for enterprise, fintech, public sector, education, healthcare, and other regulated industries. Own the full lifecycle of cloud and cybersecurity propositions, from market assessment and product development through commercialization and continuous improvement.

Manage technology partnerships with cybersecurity OEMs, ISVs, MSSPs, and security vendors to evaluate joint capabilities, certifications, commercials, and GTM opportunities. Support competitive commercial bidding by driving pricing strategies, business cases, margin analysis, and ROI modeling.

Monitor the competitive landscape, technology trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats to proactively identify new business opportunities. Ensure all proposed solutions adhere to security-by-design principles, compliance requirements, and relevant industry standards.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline is required. Candidates should have 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT and cybersecurity, with a strong focus on enterprise pre-sales, complex solution architecture, and technical consulting.
