Lead SQA Engineer – Enterprise & Scalable Platforms (Onsite, Karachi, PKR Salary)

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) leader with over eight years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, particularly within enterprise SaaS or large-scale platform environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in various testing methodologies and tools, combined with proven leadership skills to drive a quality-first engineering culture. Key Responsibilities

Lead the entire QA lifecycle, starting from requirement analysis and extending through post-production validation. You will analyze requirements to identify gaps and develop comprehensive test coverage plans that align with business goals. Creating structured test strategies and participating actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning will be essential.

Design and review application workflows and system interactions to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Define, monitor, and report on quality KPIs and release readiness metrics to maintain transparency and continuous improvement. Additionally, mentor and guide SQA engineers, fostering adherence to structured QA processes and best practices across the team.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with leadership exposure, preferably in enterprise SaaS or large-scale platform settings.
- Extensive hands-on expertise in functional, regression, integration, API, security, performance, and load testing.
- Proficiency with automation and performance testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and JMeter or equivalent.
- Experience implementing QA practices integrated with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud-native, scalable architectures.
- Understanding of AI-assisted testing tools and their application in modern QA processes.
- Experience working with OTT, mobile, streaming, or other high-traffic platforms.
- Demonstrated ownership of quality throughout the software development lifecycle, supported by strong system-level thinking and analytical skills.
