Lead UI/UX Designer

SourceTek is seeking an experienced Lead UI/UX Designer for a full-time, onsite position based in Hyderabad, Pakistan. This role offers a competitive salary starting at PKR 150,000 per month, commensurate with experience and skills. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the design process, collaborating closely with product and development teams to shape the design direction of digital products. Key Responsibilities
Lead the entire UI/UX design lifecycle, from initial research and concept development through to final design and implementation. Conduct thorough user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to gain insights into user needs. Develop user flows, information architecture, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that drive intuitive user experiences. Design clean, modern, and responsive interfaces for both web and mobile platforms. Build and maintain design systems, UI libraries, and reusable components to ensure consistency across products. Collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and business teams to translate requirements into practical design solutions. Review implemented designs, providing constructive feedback to maintain high standards of quality and consistency. Identify UX challenges and recommend improvements to enhance user engagement. Present design concepts clearly to internal teams and stakeholders. Mentor junior and mid-level designers to foster professional growth. Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, standards, and tools to continuously improve design practices.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with proven expertise in designing web and/or mobile applications. Strong understanding of UX principles, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools is essential. Experience creating responsive designs that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Solid knowledge of design systems, typography, color theory, spacing, layouts, and visual hierarchy. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills. A strong portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX projects is required to demonstrate design capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience leading or mentoring a team of designers is highly desirable. Background in SaaS, software, technology, e-commerce, or product-based companies will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive design concepts is a plus. Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments is preferred.
