Role Description The Lecturer in Computer Science is a full-time, on-site role based at the Ibadat International University campus in Islamabad. The lecturer will deliver undergraduate courses in computer science and related areas, prepare lectures, tutorials, and practical lab sessions, and assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, and examinations.

Responsibilities include developing and updating course materials, contributing to curriculum enhancement, mentoring and advising students, and maintaining high standards of teaching and academic integrity. The lecturer is also expected to participate in departmental meetings, support research or scholarly activities, and contribute to academic events and outreach initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's and Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial intelligence or any relevant Field from HEC recognized Institution.
Strong foundation in Computer Science, with the ability to teach core concepts and emerging technologies.
Proficiency in Programming and practical software development, with the capacity to guide students in hands-on projects.
Expertise in Cybersecurity principles and practices, and the ability to integrate security topics into relevant courses.
Experience in Lecturing, including designing and delivering engaging sessions, assessing learning outcomes, and providing constructive feedback.
Capability in Curriculum Development, including designing course outlines, learning materials, and assessments aligned with program objectives.
Relevant academic qualification, preferably a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a student-centered and inclusive teaching approach.
Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic team and contribute to departmental initiatives.
Interest in research, professional development, and staying current with advances in computer science education.
