We are seeking qualified and dedicated faculty members to join our academic team in nursing, basic sciences, and general education disciplines. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, facilitating student learning, and contributing to the continuous improvement of academic programs. This role offers an opportunity to engage in both theoretical and practical teaching environments, including clinical supervision and skills-lab activities, while supporting curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive course plans, lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, and other academic sessions effectively.
- Facilitate student learning through classroom instruction, simulation exercises, and skills-lab activities.
- Supervise students during clinical rotations and assess their clinical competencies to ensure practical skill development.
- Participate in examination-related activities such as paper setting, marking, and compiling results.
- Assist in the review and development of curriculum and academic resources to maintain educational standards.
- Support accreditation and quality assurance initiatives to uphold institutional compliance and excellence.
- Maintain accurate academic and clinical records for all students under supervision.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head or Dean to support departmental and institutional goals.
Required Qualifications
- For Nursing Faculty: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Post RN, or Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (BSM) with NQF Level 6 certification.
- For Basic Sciences Faculty: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant health sciences discipline.
- For General Education Faculty: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical and/or teaching experience is essential.
Additional Requirements and Terms
Candidates must submit scanned copies of all academic and professional documents. The highest education certificate or degree must be attested or verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Applicants may be disqualified if they have a third division in their academic record or an overall weak academic profile. Employees currently working at the institution with less than one year of service or without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Institution will not be considered. Candidates who are still pursuing the required degree or are medically unfit will also be deemed ineligible. Those serving in government departments or armed forces must apply through their respective parent organizations. Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained.
