We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys in a fully remote capacity. This role involves managing legal documentation, court filings, calendar coordination, and client communication during U.S. business hours. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while supporting multiple legal matters simultaneously. This position focuses on administrative and operational excellence rather than practicing law or offering legal advice.

Court Filing & Deadline Management: Submit electronic filings with state and federal courts. Track court deadlines, filing confirmations, and procedural requirements. Maintain organized calendars to prevent missed deadlines and coordinate scheduling for hearings, depositions, and litigation events.

Case & File Management: Maintain up-to-date digital case files within legal management systems. Ensure all records and communications are audit-ready and easily accessible. Track matter statuses and manage document version control.

Calendar & Administrative Coordination: Manage attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, hearings, and depositions. Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively. Support daily administrative workflow to optimize attorney productivity.

Client Communication & Coordination: Draft and send client updates, reminders, and document requests. Maintain professional and timely communication, following up on outstanding information or signatures to ensure a smooth client experience.

Legal Research & Billing Support: Conduct preliminary legal research under attorney supervision using approved databases. Summarize findings and organize materials for review. Assist with tracking billable hours, invoicing, and maintaining billing documentation.
