Legal Associate

As a Legal Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the legal team by handling a variety of tasks related to contract management, compliance monitoring, and regulatory research. You will assist senior legal staff with dispute resolution and contract drafting, while also contributing to the management of intellectual property and ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with both local and international laws.
- Conduct legal research on regulatory developments concerning data privacy, intellectual property, and corporate law.
- Support pre-litigation dispute management by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with external counsel.
- Aid in protecting and enforcing the company’s intellectual property rights.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of corporate governance policies, ensuring compliance across departments.
- Perform basic legal risk assessments and present findings to senior legal personnel to inform decision-making.
- Maintain communication with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and business partners.
- Assist in managing the company’s intellectual property portfolio, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations.

Required Qualifications:
- L.L.B. or L.L.M. degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in transactional or corporate law; 1 year of litigation experience at a law firm is preferred.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and revise legal agreements, paired with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competent in conducting thorough legal research.
- Availability to work the evening shift from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM PKT.
