We are seeking a qualified Lifting Equipment Inspector to join our Lahore office within the IVS Department. The successful candidate will report directly to the designated supervisor and work closely with various internal teams including Operations, Technical, HSE, Quality, Sales, as well as clients and subcontractors. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and compliance of lifting equipment through thorough inspections and certifications in line with both local and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and certifications of lifting equipment, accessories, and appliances following established standards and procedures.
- Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, load test witnessing, and coordinate non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
- Ensure all inspection activities comply with API, ASME, LEEA, LOLER, and client-specific regulations.
- Prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports while maintaining proper documentation and records.
- Address and clear any backlog or pending lifting equipment inspections efficiently.
- Manage work schedules and priorities to ensure timely completion of inspection tasks and reporting.
- Maintain professional competency by adhering to company policies and participating in ongoing training and development.
- Foster effective communication with clients regarding inspection schedules, findings, and recommendations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Uphold health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards by complying with all relevant legal requirements and company policies.
- Report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions promptly and cooperate fully in investigations and risk mitigation efforts.
- Promote a safe working environment by maintaining tidy and hazard-free work areas and encouraging a culture of safety among peers.
Required Qualifications
- LEEA certification with a minimum of Level 2.
- Educational background in Engineering or Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE).
- Completed HSE training relevant to lifting equipment inspection.
- Strong technical knowledge of local and international LEEA standards and regulations.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in lifting equipment inspection or a related field.
