Linux & Network Administrator

We are currently seeking a skilled Linux and Network Administrator to join our team. This role involves maintaining production servers, configuring new hosts, and resolving live operational issues to ensure smooth and secure infrastructure performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and configure Linux servers and network services using automation tools such as Ansible and containerization platforms like Docker.
- Manage and operate network protocols and directory services including WireGuard, RADIUS (FreeRADIUS), LDAP, KanIDM, and Active Directory–style services, focusing on accounts, groups, authentication, and replication.
- Configure and manage DNS settings, TLS certificates, and host-based firewalls using iptables or nftables to ensure secure network operations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to authentication, connectivity, and service failures by analyzing logs, metrics, and host states.
- Monitor alerts and review system logs and events through tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, journald, and syslog to maintain system health and performance.
- Apply patches to servers based on vulnerability assessments and verify that identified security gaps are effectively closed.
- Conduct proofs of concept for new configurations and document findings with concise reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
- Between 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration and network operations.
- Practical experience working with at least two of the following technologies: WireGuard, RADIUS, LDAP, KanIDM, Active Directory, Ansible, or Docker.
