We are seeking a dedicated Associate Logistics Operations professional to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role operates Monday through Friday, with shift timings from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (PST), based in Bahadurabad, Karachi. The position offers a market-competitive salary along with health policy coverage, bi-annual bonuses, and paid leaves. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing logistics operations, ensuring timely shipment and documentation, and coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain smooth supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to all auction-related emails, maintaining minimal response time.
- Update internal tracking sheets and company web portals daily to ensure accurate data management.
- Prepare and maintain timely documentation including Delivery Orders, Bill of Lading, Release Documents, Proof of Delivery, Rate Confirmations, and Load Confirmations.
- Plan and monitor the shipment of final products in line with customer requirements to ensure on-time delivery.
- Recruit and coordinate logistics staff, such as truck drivers, as needed to support operational demands.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, retailers, customers, and truckers to negotiate profitable deals and ensure mutual satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle interactions with overseas customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple processes simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities to address operational challenges.
- Familiarity with basic Microsoft Excel functions for data tracking and reporting.
- Quick learner with a keen interest in working within a fast-paced logistics environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in a 3PL logistics or freight brokerage organization will be given preference.
