LOGISTICS EXPEDITER

This position involves managing and coordinating the shipment of project materials and equipment both locally and internationally. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely dispatch, tracking shipments, and handling all necessary documentation to support smooth logistics operations. Close collaboration with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and project teams is crucial to maintain efficient delivery schedules and to resolve any transportation challenges that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the shipment of project materials and equipment on both local and international levels.
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm packing, dispatch, and shipping readiness.
- Obtain, review, and verify packing lists, commercial invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Arrange freight quotations and organize transportation logistics.
- Track shipments from supplier locations to final destinations, ensuring visibility throughout the process.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters to monitor vessel and flight schedules as well as shipment milestones.
- Manage import and customs-clearance documentation efficiently.
- Coordinate with customs agents and clearing teams to ensure timely customs clearance.
- Maintain shipment trackers and logistics status reports, highlighting any delays, documentation issues, or transportation risks.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials to Stores, Site, and Project teams as required.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all shipping and logistics documentation.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or expediting roles.
- Experience in handling international shipments and import processes is preferred.
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation and international freight procedures.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and customs documentation is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, EPC/EPCC, or industrial project environments will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for logistics reporting, tracking, and data management.
- Competitive monthly salary range from Rs40,000 to Rs110,000.
- The role requires in-person attendance at the designated work location.
