Logistics Operations & Data Specialist

We are seeking a Logistics Operations & Data Specialist to join our growing ecommerce business remotely, working U.S. business hours. This role focuses on managing logistics coordination, inventory control, operational reporting, and spreadsheet-based data analysis. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will leverage AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to enhance internal workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve reporting and dashboard systems. This position is ideal for someone with strong operational insight who is comfortable integrating modern AI solutions to boost efficiency, without requiring advanced technical engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Inventory Operations:
- Oversee end-to-end freight and shipment coordination.
- Track deliveries and liaise with warehouse partners to ensure timely operations.
- Create and manage purchase orders informed by inventory forecasts and sales trends.
- Support inventory planning and maintain accurate stock records.
- Coordinate daily operational workflows to ensure smooth execution.

Ecommerce Operations & Reporting:
- Manage and update product data within Shopify.
- Maintain operational spreadsheets and inventory tracking tools.
- Generate reports on sales, returns, customer service, and product performance.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Assist in operational planning through precise reporting and forecasting.

AI & Workflow Improvement:
- Utilize AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to optimize workflows and increase efficiency.
- Develop dashboards and automate repetitive operational tasks.
- Support AI-driven reporting and internal process enhancements.
- Collaborate with developers for technical integrations when necessary.
- Continuously explore AI applications to improve operations, reporting, and systems.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in logistics, inventory management, ecommerce operations, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong skills in spreadsheets, reporting, and operational data management.
- Experience building or managing operational dashboards, workflow systems, or reporting processes.
- Practical knowledge of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT in a business context.
- Demonstrated ability to improve workflows, automate tasks, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
