Long Form Video Editor

We are seeking a talented Video Editor with proven experience in editing long-form YouTube videos and podcast content. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention to create compelling and engaging video material. This role requires a creative individual who can transform raw footage into polished videos that captivate viewers and maintain consistent quality throughout.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form YouTube videos ensuring smooth transitions, engaging pacing, and effective storytelling.
- Edit podcast videos, including handling multi-camera footage, dialogue cuts, and synchronizing audio with video.
- Incorporate B-roll footage, sound effects, background music, subtitles, and other relevant visual elements as needed.
- Enhance video flow and boost audience retention through skilled editing techniques.
- Adhere to provided briefs and guidelines to maintain consistent video quality.
- Manage revisions efficiently and deliver final videos within set deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience editing long-form YouTube and podcast videos.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar professional editing software.
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles, pacing, and techniques to engage audiences effectively.
- Ability to work independently with raw footage and produce polished, engaging content.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant video editing work is mandatory.

Location:
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 10, Karachi.

Working Hours:
The role requires availability from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
