Looking for Mid-Level Video Editor

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Video Editor to join our dynamic video editing and animation agency located in DHA Phase I, Karachi. This is a full-time, on-site position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming talking-head and podcast footage into engaging short-form and long-form video content. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 35,000 to 50,000 and provides an opportunity to work in a stable environment with consistent client projects and potential for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit talking-head and podcast videos into short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and TikTok videos, as well as long-form content for platforms like YouTube.
- Deliver a minimum of 2 to 3 finished short videos daily, ensuring high quality and adherence to deadlines.
- Enhance video pacing by removing dead air, tightening dialogue, and identifying the strongest hooks to maintain viewer engagement.
- Incorporate captions, b-roll footage, zoom effects, transitions, sound effects, and background music to enrich the final product.
- Perform basic audio cleanup and apply color correction to improve video and sound quality.
- Follow client briefs and brand guidelines meticulously to ensure consistency and client satisfaction.
- Make revisions promptly and accurately based on feedback.
- Organize project files efficiently and deliver videos in the correct formats tailored for each social media platform.

Required Qualifications

- At least 1.5 years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Demonstrated experience editing talking-head or podcast-style content.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and retention-focused editing techniques.
- Familiarity with captioning styles and vertical video formats optimized for social media.
- Basic skills in audio cleanup to ensure clear and polished sound.
- Ability to work under deadlines and meet daily output targets consistently.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant editing work is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
