LPG Operator

Location: Madison Square Mall, Saddar, Rawalpindi

We are seeking a responsible and safety-conscious LPG Operator to oversee daily operations related to LPG handling, storage, and distribution. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in LPG plants, gas handling, or plumbing, with a solid understanding of safety protocols. This role requires the ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment and respond promptly to any operational or emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor LPG plant equipment, including cylinders, valves, pumps, and pipelines.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and transfer of LPG in compliance with established safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to detect leaks, faults, or any operational issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and respond effectively to emergencies such as gas leaks or fire incidents.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of plant operations and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant area at all times.
- Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Matriculation (Secondary School Certificate).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in LPG operations, plumbing, or mechanical work.
- Strong understanding of LPG systems, including pipelines, valves, and safety standards.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments.
- Willingness to work in shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Technical diploma or Intermediate level education is preferred.
- 1–3 years of additional relevant experience in LPG plant operations, gas handling, or plumbing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and relevant safety or technical certifications is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work under pressure in operational environments.
- Team player with a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, shift-based position involving work in an industrial plant environment. The role requires physical fitness to handle operational tasks and exposure to industrial conditions.

Compensation:
Monthly salary range is Rs40,000 to Rs50,000.

Candidates should be currently based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad or willing to relocate. Experience in preparing daily site reports is preferred. Applicants must be comfortable with the salary range and the hiring process, which includes 2–3 interview rounds. Familiarity with LPG safety protocols, emergency handling procedures, and prior experience with LPG equipment is essential. Candidates should be physically fit and willing to work rotational shifts.
