M&A Research Associate

We are currently looking for an M&A Research Associate to join our team and contribute to our growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive industry and competitive research to identify vertical market software businesses that align with our strategic investment criteria, including vertical focus and location. For qualified businesses, gather key contacts and detailed information to create target lists for the Marketing and Business Development teams.
- Provide actionable recommendations to the Business Development team on pursuing new acquisition targets and expanding into adjacent markets in line with our aggressive growth strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to support M&A strategic goals by delivering relevant reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) on projects and campaigns.
- Undertake special projects as assigned to support overall business objectives.

Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in research-focused roles, demonstrating commitment and effectiveness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with general IT tools; experience or willingness to learn web scraping techniques is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Zoho, Hubspot, or Salesforce is preferred.
- Prior experience working in a professional business environment.
- Availability to work afternoon shifts from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time.
