The Machine Learning Operations Coordinator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. This role focuses on coordinating daily operational activities across machine learning projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between data scientists, ML engineers, and delivery teams. The coordinator is responsible for scheduling, task tracking, monitoring project progress, maintaining documentation, preparing status reports, and supporting issue resolution to keep projects aligned with client expectations. Additionally, the role involves managing stakeholder communication, organizing meetings, overseeing operational workflows, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives related to ML pipelines and associated processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities for machine learning projects, including scheduling and task management.
- Facilitate effective collaboration between data scientists, ML engineers, and delivery teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, maintain comprehensive documentation, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Support issue identification and resolution to keep projects on track and aligned with client requirements.
- Assist in stakeholder communication by organizing meetings, managing updates, and ensuring timely information flow.
- Manage operational workflows and prioritize tasks to maintain project timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for machine learning pipelines and related operational processes.
- Provide administrative support such as record-keeping and coordination of day-to-day activities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret project data, track performance metrics, and support informed decision-making.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and for preparing clear documentation and updates.
- Proven operations management capabilities to coordinate workflows, prioritize tasks, and maintain project schedules.
- Customer service orientation to support client-facing teams and contribute positively to client relationships.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks including meeting organization and record maintenance.
- Familiarity with machine learning or data-related concepts, even if not hands-on.
- Experience working in technology or consulting environments is preferred.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools such as project management software, spreadsheets, and documentation platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Lahore, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
