We are seeking a skilled Adobe Commerce Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site contractual basis in Islamabad. This mid-level role requires 2 to 3 years of experience in Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 development. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining Adobe Commerce applications, ensuring scalable and reliable e-commerce solutions. A strong foundation in software engineering principles, application development, and performance optimization is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 applications, including modules, plugins, observers, and scheduled jobs.
- Customize storefront components such as checkout, catalog, pricing, promotions, and order workflows to meet business requirements.
- Develop and integrate REST, GraphQL, and third-party APIs to enhance application functionality.
- Integrate Adobe Commerce with ERP, payment gateways, shipping solutions, and other enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and application issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimize application performance, including database and cache management.
- Adhere to Adobe Commerce coding standards and implement security best practices.
- Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Support deployments, releases, and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Ensure timely completion of development tasks and project milestones.
- Stay updated with the latest Adobe Commerce development practices and incorporate relevant improvements.
- Apply knowledge of Flutter and mobile development best practices where applicable.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 development.
- Proficiency in developing and customizing modules, plugins, observers, and scheduled jobs.
- Experience customizing storefront, checkout, catalog, pricing, promotions, and order workflows.
- Strong skills in developing and integrating REST, GraphQL, and third-party APIs.
- Solid knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Composer, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience integrating Adobe Commerce with ERP, payment, shipping, and other enterprise systems.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and expertise in application performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Adobe Commerce coding standards and security best practices.
- Experience with unit testing, code reviews, and preparing technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud-based environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of AEM–Adobe Commerce integration using CIF is a plus.
- Adobe Commerce certification will be considered an advantage.
