Maintenance Officer

At GSK Pakistan, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing production equipment and systems to ensure safe and reliable operations. This role involves close collaboration with production, quality, stores, and contractors to keep machinery running efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Assist with machine changeovers, retooling, calibration, and validation readiness activities.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan, execute, and close work orders while maintaining accurate records.
- Identify and support projects aimed at improving equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Supervise external contractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards and site protocols.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Skilled in supporting calibration, validation compliance, and risk documentation activities. Experience with Veeva Quality Documentation and Kneat systems is preferred.
- Basic experience or willingness to learn about PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices.
- Experience with or openness to using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Strong commitment to safety, including adherence to Lock-Out-Tag-Out and permit-to-work procedures.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and commission PLCs and HMI systems.
- Practical experience in maintenance planning, spare parts control, and supporting data integrity activities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate across production, quality, and stores departments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
