Mondelēz International is seeking a highly skilled professional with deep technical expertise in process and equipment maintenance to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will lead the planning, development, and implementation of Planned Maintenance elements within a Continuous Improvement environment. You will oversee diverse teams, including technical and non-technical personnel, contractors, and operations staff, to ensure optimal process stability and equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with line leaders to achieve SQCDSM targets—Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Morale—ensuring process stability and participating actively in Daily Management System (DMS) meetings at shift and line levels.
- Take full ownership of the technology, process, and centerline settings for equipment, demonstrating deep technical mastery. Manage Progressive Maintenance (PM) systems, work processes, and key performance indicators for assigned lines, as well as the Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) budget.
- Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and time-based maintenance plans. Dedicate at least 50% of your time to building the technical and maintenance capabilities of shift technicians, empowering them to operate and maintain equipment independently. Lead PM systems at the line level and contribute to departmental initiatives.
- Partner with the Asset and Reliability team to improve systems and execute special maintenance tasks. Manage Change Management processes, spare parts localization, breakdown analysis, and cost reduction efforts for assigned lines. Represent the department and site as the technology owner in regional and global forums.
- Support new initiatives through Value Stream Units (VSU), assist line leaders with internal and external benchmarking, and serve as a subject matter expert and trainer on PM-related topics within the plant.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge and skills in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 and Progressive Maintenance (PM) Step 3, with the ability to independently maintain dedicated equipment at basic conditions. Experience executing AM, PM, Breakdown Maintenance (BD), and TPM Phase 3 & 4 problem-solving tools is essential.
- Proven capability to lead a role for the line, including qualifying and coaching Standard Work Procedure (SWP) owners and driving continuous improvement using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Adjust) methodology.
- Ability to function as a Line Leader by developing and aligning goals and master plans, deploying Individual Development Plans (IDP), and coaching team members on performance management and career growth.
