We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Male Staff Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The position is for the morning shift, providing critical nursing care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention. This role demands a compassionate professional with specialized experience in NICU settings to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates admitted to the NICU.
- Monitor and assess the condition of newborns, documenting vital signs and clinical observations accurately.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment within the NICU to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
- Educate and support families regarding their infant’s condition and care requirements.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSCN) or Diploma in Nursing.
- Valid Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) registration.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience working specifically in a NICU environment.
- Strong knowledge of neonatal care protocols and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
The position is based in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13C and requires the candidate to work in person during the morning shift from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
