Management Trainee

Ghulam Faruque Group is seeking a Management Trainee - IT to join their Group IT team in Karachi. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates in IT or Computer Science to gain hands-on experience in diverse technology projects, including SAP, business applications, software development, AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. The trainee will contribute to developing innovative solutions, supporting process improvements, and working with emerging technologies to drive efficiency and innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Group IT projects by maintaining project trackers, timelines, action items, and status reports to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assist in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), gathering requirements, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), testing, documentation, and overall project coordination.
- Support SAP and business application projects by handling requirements, testing, data validation, and issue resolution.
- Participate in SAP-related activities across various platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business One (B1), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and other SAP solutions.
- Assist in application development using Python, SQL, APIs, web technologies, and other relevant tools.
- Help develop integrations between SAP, business applications, and other enterprise systems.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging AI, automation, and digitalization to enhance business processes within GFG.
- Support the development of AI agents, chatbots, AI workflows, and automation solutions using platforms like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and others.
- Assist in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and workflow automation initiatives by identifying repetitive processes suitable for automation.
- Support data analysis efforts, create dashboards, and contribute to AI and analytics use cases.
- Develop and document proof of concepts (POCs), prototypes, and automation solutions.
- Maintain technical and project documentation while adhering to security, privacy, and governance standards.
- Stay updated on emerging SAP, AI, and technology trends and identify relevant use cases for the organization.

Required Qualifications

- Fresh graduate in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of Python programming, SQL, and enterprise technologies.
- Strong interest in software development, SAP systems, AI, automation, and digital transformation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
