Management Trainee Officer - SAP PM & QM Consultant

This position supports the Assistant Manager in managing daily SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Quality Management (QM) operations. The role involves providing user support, handling system enhancements, and contributing to research and development initiatives aimed at improving maintenance and quality processes. The candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure effective use of SAP PM and QM modules, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day SAP PM and QM user support by resolving or escalating tickets within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain PM master data, including equipment records, functional locations, maintenance plans, and task lists.
- Support preventive maintenance scheduling, manage work orders, track breakdowns, and generate maintenance reports.
- Maintain QM master data such as inspection plans, sampling procedures, and inspection characteristics.
- Assist in managing inspection lots, recording inspection results, making usage decisions, handling quality notifications, and tracking defects.
- Prepare detailed maintenance and quality reports to aid operational monitoring and management decision-making.
- Analyze system issues to identify root causes and implement or escalate appropriate solutions.
- Gather user requirements and assist in preparing functional specifications for system enhancements.
- Support SAP PM and QM configuration changes, develop custom reports and forms, and assist with ABAP developments.
- Prepare test cases, conduct testing, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and support go-live activities.
- Maintain user manuals, process documentation, and change records in line with established procedures.
- Research SAP innovations, standard practices, automation, and AI opportunities, and recommend improvements to the Assistant Manager.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Textile, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical), Computer Science, or Information Technology with a strong academic record.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience with SAP is preferred but not mandatory.
