MedMolds is seeking a commercially driven Manager – Business Development to spearhead international business growth, explore new markets, and establish enduring relationships with global medical device companies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen who can drive revenue expansion and align customer needs with the company’s manufacturing capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background and proven experience in international business development within the medical device or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies targeting international markets.
- Identify and secure new clients, markets, and product opportunities to expand the company’s footprint.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with multinational customers and key stakeholders.
- Drive revenue growth by expanding business beyond the existing client base.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met through manufacturing capabilities.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging opportunities within medical device plastics.
- Represent MedMolds at international exhibitions, trade shows, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility and network.
Required Qualifications:
- MBA combined with an Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical, Polymer, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 12 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within medical devices, plastics, healthcare packaging, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong technical understanding of plastics manufacturing and engineered products.
- Demonstrated experience in international business development and client acquisition.
- Excellent analytical, commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work across diverse cultures and international markets.
- Professional, approachable, and relationship-oriented personality.
