We are seeking a “Manager Accounts” for a chemicals paints and textile concern in Karachi.

The candidate must be a Graduate / Master’s or equivalent with at least 10+ years of relevant experience working in the chemicals, paints, or textile sector.

Education: Bachelor or Masters Age: 32+ years Experience: 10+ years of manufacturing/production industry sales/ operations experience in a related field. Job Descriptions / Responsibilities

Ensure that all financial transactions are handled and processed in line with the approved policies and procedures.
Oversee the daily operations of the finance department
Manage the preparation of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
Ensure that financial controls are in place at functions and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
Checking of Vouchers/Payments, Checking of Contractors’ IPCs/Running Bills, Projections & Funds Management, etc
Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
Coordinate and complete audit inquiries
Preparation of monthly payrolls and sharing with HR for further review to seek approval from management for salary payment.
Manage the accounts team in day-to-day tasks. This includes daily supervision and coordination of the team’s tasks and providing guidance to the team members on any issues or concerns.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Ensure proper and accurate bookkeeping.
All accounting entries are correctly posted in the accounting software on a timely basis and closing on a monthly & annual basis with accuracy and adherence to IFRS/local accounting standards.
Ensure on-time monthly reporting to the Senior Management use (i.e., Monthly Reporting of MIS, Trial Balance, all accounting schedules, statutory schedules, etc.).
Ensure all the payments are supported with proper documentation and utilization of credit period.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
Working knowledge of MS Office and Accounting Software
