Manager Advanced Data Analytics

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets from multiple sources to uncover trends and opportunities that drive revenue growth and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves designing and maintaining interactive dashboards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in BI tools, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, organize, and analyze extensive banking datasets from internal and external sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue enhancement and operational improvements.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify areas of potential revenue loss or improvement, providing data-driven recommendations related to market penetration, sales coverage, and product preferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to gather and document business requirements, ensuring BI solutions align with organizational objectives.
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity, supporting data governance initiatives and standards.
- Detect anomalies affecting insights on customer churn, deposits, or digital behavior, maintaining reliable analytical foundations.
- Recommend improvements to reporting and data analysis processes through technology solutions and automation.
- Automate routine monitoring tasks, prepare executive summaries, and create simple wireframes for dashboards with key visuals and alerts to facilitate quick decision-making by non-technical leaders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, reports, and data models, and provide end-user support and training on BI platforms.
- Analyze external models, regional and global trends, and competitive data to validate and refine business strategies and goals.
- Evaluate market opportunities and prepare reports that support shareholder value creation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design targeted solutions, develop detailed implementation plans, and establish governance mechanisms.
- Define project requirements, including milestones, phases, and tasks, and monitor progress against KPIs, proactively resolving issues and preparing progress reports with actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Management, or a related quantitative field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar analytical role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions, along with familiarity with other MS Office applications.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques such as star schema.
