We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Business Development to join a prestigious organization based in Lahore. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing and executing strategic plans, managing client relationships, and generating revenue through various channels including exhibitions, conferences, and venue sales. This position requires a professional with a strong background in business development, sales, or marketing, who can effectively negotiate contracts, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the annual event calendar and venue sales plan to meet organizational goals.
- Acquire and retain exhibition organizers, corporate clients, and sponsors to expand the business portfolio.
- Negotiate venue rental and service contracts ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Achieve assigned revenue targets through strategic business development initiatives.
- Conduct market research on trade sectors and exhibition trends to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain strong liaison with trade bodies, chambers of commerce, and government stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed proposals, rate cards, and management reports to support business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 16 years of education with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Event Management, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
- Candidates with an 18-year MS or Master’s degree in a relevant field will be preferred.
Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, marketing, or client relationship management with a proven track record of revenue generation.
- Experience in exhibition, conference, or venue sales is highly desirable.
- Candidates from hotel and hospitality, media and advertising, real estate, or corporate sales backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Experience will be evaluated based on its relevance to the role, regardless of the industry sector.
Additional Information
- Maximum age limit is 45 years as of the closing date for applications.
- Only one position is available, located in Lahore.
