Manager Card Settlemen

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager – Card Settlement (AVP) to join a leading banking client in Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing card transaction settlements, reconciliation processes, chargebacks, and dispute resolution. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in daily operations while collaborating with multiple teams to resolve complex issues and minimize risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily card settlement and reconciliation activities, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and within established timelines.
- Oversee chargebacks, refunds, transaction disputes, and financial adjustments, maintaining thorough documentation and timely resolution.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control policies to maintain compliance and mitigate operational risks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Monitor settlement performance metrics, investigate discrepancies, and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve complex settlement issues, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in card settlement, reconciliation, or banking operations.
- Strong understanding of card payment processing systems, settlement procedures, and dispute management frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
