The Manager Corporate Communications will develop, manage, and execute comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the organization’s reputation and strengthen relationships with stakeholders. This role ensures consistent messaging across all internal and external platforms, acting as the guardian of the corporate brand voice. The manager leads internal communication efforts to boost employee engagement, promote organizational culture, and effectively convey business priorities, HR initiatives, leadership messages, and key updates. Additionally, the role oversees external communications to support brand positioning, reputation management, stakeholder engagement, and corporate storytelling. Collaboration with media, PR, marketing, digital, HR, and business teams is essential to deliver integrated communication plans and campaigns. The position also supports corporate events, sponsorships, and CSR communication programs by crafting impactful narratives aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and brand values.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement corporate communication strategies aligned with organizational goals and business priorities.
- Lead internal communication initiatives, including leadership messages, employee announcements, HR communications, engagement campaigns, and culture-building content.
- Manage external corporate communications, covering corporate messaging, stakeholder communication, reputation management, and brand positioning efforts.
- Ensure consistent application of corporate identity guidelines and oversee brand governance across all communication materials and channels.
- Manage media relations and coordinate with PR agencies, digital teams, and relevant stakeholders to maintain consistent messaging and strengthen corporate presence.
- Develop communication plans and content for corporate events, sponsorships, CSR initiatives, and other brand visibility programs.
- Oversee the creation of corporate communication materials such as newsletters, presentations, publications, digital content, and executive communications.
- Collaborate with internal departments and leadership teams to ensure effective communication alignment and timely delivery of key messages.
- Monitor communication effectiveness using stakeholder feedback, engagement insights, and performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed.
- Support initiatives that enhance corporate reputation, employee engagement, and overall brand perception.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7–9 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, or similar roles, preferably within FMCG, pharma/consumer health, or other fast-moving sectors.
- Proven experience managing media relations, crisis communications, and executive/leadership communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including press releases, speeches, internal memos, and leadership talking points.
- Expertise in brand messaging and corporate narrative development.
- Experience in internal communications focusing on employee engagement, town halls, and change communication.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across departments and with external partners such as regulators, media, and industry bodies.
- Knowledge of digital and social media communication strategies.
- Event management experience, including press conferences, CSR events, and corporate functions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Creative storytelling abilities combined with strict attention to compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with media monitoring tools or PR software is advantageous.
