Jazz is looking for a Manager, Digital Products to spearhead the development and management of cutting-edge digital platforms serving over 70 million customers. This role presents a unique chance to lead transformative digital initiatives aimed at modernizing technology and scaling products such as Digital Telco and Video Streaming platforms. The position requires staying aligned with emerging trends in social media, content, and communication. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Products & Solutions, the successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping Jazz’s digital future by leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the entire technical product development lifecycle for digital platforms, from initial concept through deployment and scaling. Define and oversee the digital technology ecosystem supporting products like video streaming platforms and AdTech integrations. Manage vendor payment processes, including invoicing, approvals, and technology licensing fees, while overseeing technical budgets, cost allocation, and capacity planning. Drive feature planning, development, and rollout using Agile and DevOps methodologies within a large-scale telco environment. Coordinate both in-house and outsourced engineering teams and development partners to deliver on the product roadmap. Proactively identify and mitigate technical, delivery, and operational risks. Lead research and development initiatives by defining objectives, business use cases, cost estimates, and resource requirements. Conduct regular product and solution reviews to ensure alignment with business goals, compliance, and operational readiness. Collaborate closely with VEON Group, commercial teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, competitive, and market-ready. Manage cross-functional dependencies and stakeholder commitments to guarantee timely delivery. Establish reporting, analytics, and KPI frameworks to monitor product performance and operational metrics. Champion Agile practices across teams and coach stakeholders on product and delivery best practices. Act as Scrum Master, facilitating sprint ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications
8-10 years of hands-on experience in technology and engineering management, with a minimum undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field. Proven leadership in managing projects and development teams for large-scale digital products with over 2 million monthly active users, including Mobile, Web, Cloud Native stacks, API integrations, and Agile deployments. Experience leading software engineers or technical product managers, with expertise in cost assessment, budget management, and resource allocation. Proficiency in software development languages and frameworks such as HTML5, Objective C, C#, Java, PHP, and native mobile app development. Strong knowledge of product management tools and methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project. Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Experience with cloud streaming services including WMS Panel, Nimble Streamer, and AWS Elemental Media Services. Database management skills with MySQL, MariaDB, and Cassandra. Expertise in APIs, web services, and integrations (SOAP/REST). Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing DevOps teams. Familiarity with technology Intellectual Property Rights management. Competence in digital analytics tools such as Firebase, MixPanel, Google Analytics, and Clevertap.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
