MANAGER EXPRESS CENTER

This role involves managing the complete operations of an Express Center, focusing on ensuring timely completion of purchase orders and efficient product dispatch. The position requires optimizing production workflows to enhance productivity and maximize resource utilization. A key aspect of the role is overseeing automation processes across various stages such as elastic making, label making, attacca folding, and pre-assembly, while continuously seeking new automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining effective work-in-progress (WIP) control, minimizing waste, and ensuring a smooth production flow. Monitoring production quality and ensuring adherence to customer requirements and company policies are critical. Collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams is essential to identify and resolve bottlenecks and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end operations of the Express Center, ensuring timely completion of purchase orders and product dispatch.
- Optimize production workflows to improve productivity and resource utilization.
- Monitor and enhance automation utilization in elastic making, label making, attacca folding, and pre-assembly processes.
- Identify and implement new automation technologies to increase operational efficiency.
- Maintain effective WIP control to minimize waste and ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor production quality and ensure compliance with customer specifications and company standards.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to troubleshoot bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in managing production or operations within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of automation processes and their application in production workflows.
- Ability to analyze and optimize resource utilization and productivity.
- Experience in quality control and ensuring compliance with customer and company standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various teams.
