We are looking for a Field Manager – Operations to lead and coordinate fieldwork activities across multiple projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing field operations, managing teams, conducting training sessions, overseeing budgets, and ensuring the collection of accurate and high-quality data. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective leadership, and hands-on experience in managing field operations to achieve project goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee fieldwork activities at various locations to ensure timely completion of project objectives.
- Develop detailed project timelines and maintain strict control over field-related expenses.
- Create, review, and improve questionnaires and other tools used for data collection in the field.
- Recruit, train, and supervise field staff and team leaders to maximize operational efficiency and maintain high standards.
- Implement and monitor adherence to proper field methodologies and quality assurance protocols.
- Regularly assess field performance and promptly resolve any operational issues that arise.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management while maintaining comprehensive records of all field activities.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in managing field operations.
- Strong leadership capabilities with proven team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work on-site at designated locations, ensuring hands-on management of field activities.
- Experience in budgeting and controlling costs related to field projects.
- Skilled in developing and reviewing data collection instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience managing several projects simultaneously is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day operational challenges in a field environment.
