Jamshoro Power Company Limited (JPCL) is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join their team as a Manager (MIS). The role involves overseeing the Management Information System functions to support the company’s operational and strategic objectives. The Manager (MIS) will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of data, as well as providing timely and accurate management reports to facilitate decision-making. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage IT resources effectively, coordinate with various departments, and implement best practices in information management.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain the Management Information System to support business processes and reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all MIS platforms.
- Generate and analyze management reports to assist senior management in strategic planning and operational control.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Lead the MIS team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Manage data backup, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, IT standards, and regulatory requirements related to information systems.
- Facilitate the integration of new technologies and software solutions to improve business processes.
- Prepare and manage the MIS budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in MIS management, preferably within the power or energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of database management, data analytics, and reporting tools.
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant MIS software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
