Pepsi Northern Bottling Company (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Manager/Assistant Manager – Fleet & Logistics to join their team in Peshawar, Pakistan. This role is ideal for logistics professionals with a strong background in vehicle fleet operations, transportation planning, and supply chain management. The successful candidate will oversee company-owned vehicles, coordinate deliveries, manage transportation costs, supervise drivers, and collaborate with sales, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely distribution of finished goods. This position demands a balance of operational efficiency, cost control, safety compliance, and leadership within a fast-paced beverage or FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire company vehicle fleet, including delivery trucks, forklifts, staff vehicles, and primary transport, ensuring vehicle availability, maintenance, and proper utilization.
- Control fleet-related expenses such as fuel, maintenance, tires, insurance, and other operational costs while identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency without compromising safety or delivery performance.
- Maintain accurate asset tracking and manage the introduction of new vehicles to the fleet, coordinating with relevant departments for updates and operational integration.
- Ensure timely delivery of finished goods to distributors in line with the sales plan by coordinating vehicle assignments and monitoring delivery schedules.
- Collaborate daily with Sales, Warehouse, and Production teams to align dispatch planning with production output and distributor requirements.
- Oversee vehicle documentation and legal compliance, including fitness certificates, route permits, insurance, and excise documentation, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Conduct driver training focused on defensive driving, road safety, and adherence to standard operating procedures to promote safe and responsible vehicle operation.
- Manage third-party transporters by negotiating rates, monitoring performance, and ensuring service reliability and compliance with company standards.
- Lead and develop fleet supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and fostering effective communication across teams.
- Monitor driver performance and route discipline to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures, addressing any issues promptly.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in logistics and fleet management, preferably within the beverage industry or FMCG sector.
- Proven expertise in fleet planning, transportation operations, cost control, driver supervision, route planning, vehicle documentation, third-party transporter management, and cross-departmental coordination.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- A master’s degree such as an MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
