Manager, Policies and Procedures Expert, Finance Transformation Rapid Innovations

We are expanding our Finance Transformation team in the MENA region and seeking an experienced Assistant Manager or Manager with strong expertise in developing policies, procedures, and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in standardizing organization-wide policies to ensure consistency, compliance, and effective governance. A thorough understanding of internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices is essential. This role supports multiple client engagements across the MENA region and is based in our Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad Center of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development, review, and enhancement of operating policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process guidelines, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and industry standards. Assess existing processes to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance risks, and develop recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve process standardization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and document future-state processes that enhance operational effectiveness, mitigate risks, and support regulatory compliance. Facilitate change management activities, including communication planning, training, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure smooth adoption of new or updated policies. Ensure all policies comply with regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks. Coordinate with various departments to standardize processes and improve operational consistency. Experience in documenting process KPIs, cross-functional SLAs, and RACI matrices is preferred. Support internal and external audits by ensuring proper documentation and alignment of policies.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or a Master’s degree in a related field. A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in Finance Transformation is required, with demonstrated expertise in designing, reviewing, and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks. The ability to translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly policy documents and SOPs is essential. Knowledge of key ERP functionalities within leading systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is important. A strong understanding of risk management principles and their application within financial processes and policy governance is necessary. Excellent documentation, analytical, communication, and client management skills are required. Flexibility to travel across the MENA region as needed is also expected.
