Manager R&D (Woven)

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall research and development (R&D) and new product development strategy for woven textiles, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives, customer needs, and prevailing market trends. Drive innovation by researching yarn types, weaving techniques, finishing processes, and other advanced textile technologies to develop new products. Identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve quality, enhance processes, increase productivity, reduce waste, and differentiate products in the market. Establish and maintain R&D standards, manage development timelines, define technical specifications, and oversee trials and testing phases. Ensure the successful transfer of products from R&D to bulk production. Continuously monitor market trends, competitor offerings, customer requirements, and emerging textile technologies to spot new product opportunities. Apply strong expertise in woven fabric construction, yarn selection, weaving, finishing, and product commercialization to support all development activities.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university. A minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience is required, with a preference for those who have worked specifically in woven textiles. Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in woven fabric construction, yarn selection, weaving, and finishing processes are essential to succeed in this role.
