Manager Security

We are seeking a disciplined and experienced Manager Security to lead and oversee all security operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, customers, company assets, and premises. This role demands strong leadership, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage security risks effectively while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage, and supervise all security operations across the premises, ensuring comprehensive coverage at entrances, exits, parking areas, offices, and other critical locations.
- Lead and manage the security team, including Security Officers, Supervisors, Guards, and other personnel, ensuring proper training, discipline, and performance.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor and control the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and vendors, maintaining strict access control and visitor management protocols.
- Supervise CCTV surveillance systems and ensure continuous monitoring of sensitive and critical areas.
- Conduct regular security inspections to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Prepare and implement emergency response, evacuation, and fire safety procedures, coordinating regular drills and training sessions.
- Manage security arrangements for VIP visits, events, meetings, and other special activities.
- Maintain close coordination with local law enforcement agencies, fire brigade, rescue services, and civil defense authorities when required.
- Investigate security incidents such as theft, damage, misconduct, and unauthorized access, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
- Oversee the handling and safeguarding of company keys, access cards, security equipment, and sensitive areas.
- Monitor security staff attendance, uniforms, deployment, and shift schedules, preparing duty rosters accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitors, vehicles, and other security-related matters.
- Coordinate with HR, Administration, Engineering, and Operations departments on security issues.
- Monitor performance of security contractors where applicable and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and company policies.
- Take immediate and appropriate action during emergencies and security incidents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports for management review.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant security management experience, ideally within malls, commercial buildings, hotels, construction companies, property management, or corporate environments.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory security role.
- Strong knowledge of security operations including access control, CCTV surveillance, emergency response, and incident management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and handle emergency situations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong reporting and documentation capabilities.
- Physically fit and capable of conducting regular site inspections.
- Honest, disciplined, responsible, and professionally presentable.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Retired Pakistan Army Officers, preferably at the rank of Major or above, will be given preference.
- Candidates with a strong military or security background and proven experience in managing large security teams are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in security operations, risk assessment, crisis management, and coordination with law enforcement agencies.
- Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to maintain discipline within the security team.
- Professional demeanor, physical fitness, and the ability to work under high-pressure conditions.

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications (Rs70,000 - Rs90,000 per month)
