Maqaam - Inclusive Employment Program for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)

Maqaam is a one-year inclusive employment program by JazzWorld designed to create permanent job opportunities for persons with disabilities (PWDs). This initiative offers a structured pathway involving onboarding, skill matching, mentorship, and performance evaluations, ultimately leading to conversion opportunities for high-performing participants. The role is an early-career position focused on supporting daily operational and functional activities within an assigned team. Candidates will work under the supervision of a line manager or designated team member while progressing through the Maqaam development journey. The position is open nationwide across multiple divisions and locations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver with ownership: Manage assigned operational and administrative tasks from start to finish, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines. Maintain accurate records, trackers, and reports that are audit-ready, providing the team with a reliable source of information. Collect, organize, and perform basic analysis on data to support informed decision-making and recommendations.

Solve and support: Independently handle routine queries and requests, escalating complex or high-risk issues to the line manager as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders across teams and functions to obtain inputs, resolve obstacles, and keep projects on schedule. Identify recurring problems and propose practical solutions rather than merely reporting issues.

Grow and represent Maqaam: Actively participate in onboarding, mentorship sessions, and quarterly reviews to develop skills aimed at securing a permanent role. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and demonstrate inclusive work practices for others to emulate. Adhere to company policies, confidentiality requirements, and health and safety standards as foundational elements of all responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is mandatory. Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience post-graduation. A basic understanding of workplace processes and the ability to follow established procedures is essential. Strong communication skills are required, including proficiency in spoken, written, or alternative communication methods such as sign language or assistive technologies. Familiarity with standard productivity tools, particularly Microsoft Office applications, is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, adaptable approach. A willingness to learn, accept feedback, and adjust to changing priorities is also important.
